Livyatan Melvillei

Did a bit of facial surgery and needed updating on my Livyatan Melvillei for 2016. This guy was actually a customer pick as an incentive reward from our first Cotton Crustacean Kickstarter.com campaign in 2012. Someone from our 2016 Kickstarter campaign requested a print of this guy, so I dug him out and gave him a face lift. Moved his eye forward, and made it smaller. Then reduced how much you can see the top row of teeth.

This beast of all beasts was a prehistoric, monster sperm whale; a true "leviathan", and had the biggest teeth of any animal recorded - over a foot long! This is the biggest difference from modern sperm whales, whose teeth are much smaller, and found only in their lower mandible.
