|Shark finning is an ongoing atrocity to nature; a brutal practice that has no merit and place in our world. Do what you can to boycott shark fin soup and the places that serve it. A lot of progress is being made in stopping this form of "fishing", but we can't rest till not another single fin is hacked off a shark. Share this all you want.|
Hi! I am an illustrator and graphic cartoonist who dabbles quite a bit in biological illustration and scientific visualization. I graduated valedictorian with a Bachelor's in Fine Art Degree in Illustration from the Academy of Art, University in San Francisco, California in Fall of 2014. I'm also an alumni of the legendary, Kubert School of Graphic Art, in Dover, NJ.|
In 2012, my wife and I started a boutique clothing company called Cotton Crustacean. Scroll down to see our designs, featuring my scientific illustrations of prehistoric marine life, printed on premium, American Apparel tees. Visit us at www.cottoncrustacean.com
When not drawing crabs or sea cucumbers, I play guitar and sing in the progressive rock band, GIANT SQUID (www.giantsquidlives.com) and play bass in the Jaws obsessed, pirate-sludge band, SQUALUS (going-to-need-a-bigger-boat.ba…).

SPIRALS IN TIME, a book I illustrated about mollusks, specifically those who make seashells, has finally come out in the states today, via Bloomsbury Publishing. Written by the brilliant and hip British marine-biologist, Dr. Helen Scales, it's jam packed with lots of fascinating natural history of sea-shells and their strange biology, as well as their cultural significance around the world; and of course, lots of illustrations from me of these critters, past and present.
