My Bio

I am a freelance illustrator and graphic cartoonist who specializes in marine-biology and paleontology illustration. My clients have included TOHO International, IDW Comics, The Smithsonian Institute, The Science Channel, Aquarium of the Bay, Bloomsbury Sigma, Storey Publishing, DIVE Magazine, WKB Industries/Netflix, Seymour Marine Discovery Center, San Francisco Conservatory of Flowers, and Translation Loss Records.

I graduated as class valedictorian from the Academy of Art, University with a Bachelor's in Fine Art Degree in Illustration. I'm also an alumnus of the legendary, Kubert School of Graphic Art, in Dover, NJ where I studied from 2009-2010.

I'm the Lead Product Development and Design Agent for TOHO International, the Los Angeles based office of the legendary Japanese movie production company, TOHO STUDIOS (Toho Co., Ltd.) where I oversee and approve most all officially licensed Godzilla merchandise sold outside of Japan.

I'm also the founder/owner of a boutique t-shirt company called Cotton Crustacean based in Pacifica, CA; featuring my scientific illustrations of prehistoric marine life, printed on premium tees. Visit us at www.cottoncrustacean.com or at our brick-and-mortar store in Pacifica, CA.

When not drawing, I play bass and sing in the JAWS themed, synth-sludge band, SQUALUS, and was the frontman for the doom-rock band, GIANT SQUID. Both can be found at (thissongisaboutsharks.net)
